Dinosaurs!

Today was a beautiful day! Temps in the 70s and sunny. Too chilly in my opinion for a morning pool visit. So we headed to Crown Center to see the new, free exhibit....Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice. Edee loved to climb into any small "cave."
Mallory loved climbing on the dinosaurs.  Edee was afraid of them.  They didn't move, but she still didn't like them.  This from the kiddo that loves the PBS show Dinosaur Train.  She even sings the intro song.
Here's another little nook for Edee to climb into.

They had a spot where the kiddos could dig for "fossils."  Mallory's showing one that she found.

After playing for a bit, we headed across the street to eat a picnic lunch.  Seriously, the weather was perfect.  Actually a little chilly when the wind started blowing.  Mallory really wanted to play in the fountains.  I think that's going to be another activity this summer.  But it's going to have to be a really hot day!

ASIDE--I was looking at You Tube for some new hairstyles for Mallory.  This is what I came up with.  It's a bit messy.  I just need some more practice.  :)  She wants me to learn how to make a french braid heart.  We saw it in a magazine once.  Not sure I'm good enough for that....yet.

Edee loved sitting backwards in her chair!  Can you see the big smile?!?
We sat right in front of the entrance to the new Legoland and the Aquarium.  We'll have to try them out sometime.  I just need to find out if I need to save it for Steve to join us or not.  We'll make it there eventually.
