Wedding

Last night Mallory and I went to my uncle Steve's wedding.  It started at 7, which is late for Edee.  With her having a temperature the day before it was as definite for Steve to stay home with her.  Here is the hairstyle that I did for Mallory. It's the same one I did for the Royal's game, but this time I did it when her hair was wet. It looked so much better!

Here's Mallory with Nana and Papa before the service started.  I was worried that the wedding was going to be weird.  But I couldn't have been more wrong.  Steve's wife, Lois, passed away a few years ago.  She had been battling cancer.  After her death, my uncle was just lonely.  Last night he married Patti a woman who he'd known for a long time from church.  I can't really describe how they managed, but they paid respect to Lois and still had a lovely service.

The reason Mallory was so excited to go was Elliana, my cousin's daughter.  Here they are at the reception.  Aren't they cute!?!  It really looks like Mallory has hose on.  Nope that's her skin color these days.

I received the best compliment on Mallory's hair.  A woman whom I'd never met before said it was "a work of art."  I'm not sure I'd go that far, but it was nice!
